This is a blog about our 2 month hike through the Pyrenees, mostly via the GR10 during the Summer of 2011. Furthermore, we will be raising money for our favorite non-profit, Lost Coast Camp.

Day 5: St Etienne de Baigorry to St Jean Pied de Port
We walked quickly through a mildly easy road and track walk into St Jean Pied de Port- a popular town for walkers as the Camino de Santiago passes through. Here we had our first taste of the french walking culture with so many travellers around and shops with anything a walker could need. We did our laundry (very needed), found the first internet, and took showers in the campground in the center of town. It rained the entire time we were here but the town was so beautiful we didnt mind.
