Day 21 : Germ to Lac d'Oo

A steep but nice hike out of Germ. After passing the first cabane there were several river crossings which took us a long time to negociate. Up, up, up to the top where we had a quick lunch and watched the fog swallow the valley and then work it's way up to the col where we were. We decended down into the fog where navigation became tricky and poped out under the fog. One last little climb for the day up to the lac d'Oo, which was socked in with fog and heavy mist. It looked like a good place to shot a horror film, but inside was cozy and nice. We hung out with Glen and Sam from Wales and New Zealand respectfully, killing flies and playing cards  into the night - good fun. We tried each of the French digestives and apertiefs while celibrating Cassie's birthday.
