Day 26 : l'Etang d'Araing to a river 4 hours past Eylie

A nice and hot little morning climb and beautiful long decent trough an old mine site. We made great time to Eylie where we got cold beers from the nice gite gaurdian and our friends John Michele and Annie warned us of a big storm that was due in the next day. They helped us book a room at a gite for the storm and so we pushed on to the next climb in the heat of the afternoon. Luckily, we gotg a little cloud cover in the afternoon which made it much nicer. The decent to the river was covered in tall grass and nettle - it seems sometimes like we're the first people to break trail for the year. There was little flat ground at the river, but it was a nice place to hang and watch the sun go down over the mountains with a fat bowl of noodle soup.
