Day 15 : The lake to Cauterets

Wet all day but we got a nice peak at the scenery on the top for a few seconds. It was hard to find the trail after the pass but eventually we found our way to the steep and long decent into Cauterets where we would take a day off tomorrow. The hotel Edelweis was the best and very cheap. This is the best town for a zero day and we could find just about anything we needed here. Several good cheap places to eat. There is a laundromat and many shops to buy everything a hiker could need. To our surprise, the tour de sud bike race was ending in town the next day.
